These are one of the pre-eminent boots made for Renaissance Festivals- and they're one of the main suppliers to most of the performers out at the big shows.
These things rock as minimalistic footwear. Just be prepared for the sticker-shock; they're NOT cheap in anyone's book save maybe Bill Gates'. Expect to shell out somewhere upwards of $1k (~$100/button's been the running rule of thumb for them for the last 15 years...) for a pair just like is shown on the picture; the upshot is that they're custom made to your feet from start to finish.
