trail glove too tight

Well folks what to do. These shoes are tight across my mid foot. I have let the laces out enough that so that to tie them I had to take them out of the top 2 holes. I may try getting them wet and wearing till dry.

I have wide feet and I found these tight as well. I still decided to give them a shot and after two weeks of wear they've become much more comfortable. I still can only wear them comfortably without socks (or only with very thin socks).

A couple things I did which has made all the difference in the world. First change the way the lacing was done. There are different ways to run the laces through the eyelets and for high instep the lace does not cross the foot at the bottom. right off that changed things. wearing sports socks that were sort of thick and getting them damp from dew then wearing till dry.....about 20 mins LOL also helped. It also seemed to "set" the edge of the one tongue so that the edge that is improperly sewn lays flat now so that I can wear them without socks all day comfortably. Since I am not running in them it will take awhile before the sponginess under the ball of the foot compresses but they are comfortable now. I can say that I can feel small stones through the sole in the trail glove much more then in the Vivo Dharams

No advice on the TG, but the narrowness is why I did not buy them and ended up with Altra Instincts and Soft Star RunAmoc instead.
