While we have only reviewed one Patagonia shoe on Toe Salad so far, the review was quite favorable. They had a few other models that were intriguing to us as well, but alas, it was not meant to be. Wolverine Worldwide - the licensee of the Patagonia brand for footwear, has decided to stop production. From the article:
Patagonia doesn't currently have any plans to produce the shoe line in-house or with another contract, said Adam Fetcher, Patagonia’s global communications director,
"At some point in the future we may revisit footwear but there is nothing in the works now," Fetcher said.
It is kind of disappointing really, as I quite like Patagonia as a company, and would welcome their innovative outdoors and environmental thinking in the footwear space.
