Based on looks and previews I'd say the Adam. Plus the Altra will be available in June instead.

I dont really care about looks, but am more concerned with how they will perform over lot of miles.

Looks are all we have, there are no comparisons between the two yet. Altra will be the minimalist choice and closest to barefoot, the Hattori looks to have more cushioning.

mostly roads, I already have the New Balance trail minimus for trail. Yet surprisingly the trail minimus works great on road to.

I haven't tried the Saucony, but I am very much in love with the Adam. The fit is excellent on my feet, and I also like the fact that it has no cushioning other than the insole (which is removable). I think the question to ask yourself is how much cushioning you want under foot...

I dont want much cushioning so I guess the Adam is the best choice for me. Just can't wait much longer for it to come out!!!!

back to the what if game. Between the Hattori and the Adam I now choose the Adam. What about the Vibram Biklia and the Adam?

I know not many people have tried the Adam so I am hoping dmien can help out here. I have located a place I can get te biklia for a good price and I wanted to know thoughts on biklia vs Adam?

While I like FiveFingers, I prefer the KSO over the Bikila from a fit standpoint - I find that the stretchy uppers give a nicer fit. Personally, if I were to go with VFF it would be the KSO. I usually recommend wearing an Injinji sock with the KSOs to prevent any chafing.

What I don't like about the VFFs are that they don't work so well in colder temperatures, my toes get cold especially when wet. When walking, I find that I can't do much colder than 45F when it is dry out, 50F when it is wet out. When running, I find that 30F is about the limit. For warm conditions, the VFFs are great but if you are looking for a shoe with a greater range of temperatures, then the Adams are a better choice.
